the sony handy cam is fine and not too pricey either. also you'll want a tripod, which you can get a radioshack for like $20. and it does help to have the camera man sit a little behind the shooters....

i use scandisc for all my cameras including my bushnell. but be sure you dont mix the cards from camera to camera becuase its a pain to reprogram them.
