What I find most entertaining about the people who jump up and down screaming "its not a bow!!!" and claiming they are "bowhunters" and those that use crossbows are not is that quite a few of them...

I have to dissagree with your estimates. I got the same basic line from the "bowhunter groups" in my area and they are so against crossbows for no good reason that it is written intotheir bylaws....
