Picked this up a few days in a trade. Depending how well it shoots, I'll more than likely be robbing the scope off the omega and selling the TC.

they still produce them but in order to get the Apex or x-150 you have to call cva direct. Its more than likely to sell of the stock pile before they call the winchester dead.

i am out of real BP, the kentucky is a flinter.

I'll see about using pyrodex p with a booster of 4f goex. i can only shoot the flinter at 50 yards right now.

Went shooting yesterday with 100gr rs and i honestly could not get groups for chit! 10" group to be exact @ 100 yards.

90 grains was the same.

Shot 3 more shots today with 90 and an 8"...

3 shots at 100 today did not go as good as i had hoped for.

First shot was perfect, left corner of the bulls eye, next shot hit 2" to the right and #3 was way the heck off and hit 3" below shot...

Thats whats bad about cutting at the muzzle. Great if you are using spit and target shooting, but for hunting you want some real lube on the patch and its darn right messy to have a pregreased strip...
