You guys may call me crazy but I didn't think the 3 inch slugs kicked any harder than the 2.75. The 3 incher was noticeably more accurate though.

I shot my dad's 3.5 inch Benelli Super Black Eagle this spring. That gun is quite light. The kick, however, was stout. Nothing I wouldn't shoot again, but it definitely got your attention.

I used the DZ as well. I must say that it's worked for me quite nicely. I haven't put anything extra on it. Just had the bowshop personnel tie it in and it works real nice. I'd recommend it.
