Hello again folks. My father and I found out we have some relations in Missouri in Saline County (I believe that's the county). We also believe the property lies along the Missouri River. Don't know how much property and even if these folks hunt. Well they told us we can come out and hunt. Anyone know how the deer hunting might be in that area?

It should be a pretty good hunting spot if it is truly along the Missouri river and there is a mixture of bluffs and river bottoms in crops. But I am not from that part of the state, so I am not an expert. Good luck with the hunting though.

Should be a very good area - Central Missouri has substantially more agricultural activitythan the southern regions of the state; that typically meansgood numbersof big, i.e. well-fed deer. We hunt in adjacent counties, and have taken a number of mature 210lb+ (field dressed) bucks.

You're lucky also in the sense that you are on the border of the antler restricted counties (which require 4 pts on one side), which include counties adjacent to, but not including Saline.
Good luck this Fall!
