Some areas do get a little busy. Elk season there were about 10 camps in the area I was hunting. Deer season we only saw 3 other hunters in one camp and we taged out on the second day of the season....

Well first welcom to Colorado. To hunt elk and mule deer here in Colorado most of us just get BLM land maps and find public land to hunt. The more west you go from I-25 the more public land you find....

I was just up on the Pawee National Grasslands andGreasewood Flats SWA. That wildlife area has a few jackrabbits, but the grasslands would be a good bet. There were a goodamount of cottontails there....
