I'm going to Wyoming in October for the opening week of the firearm season in Region C. I will hunting area 25 of Region C which is the Northwestern most area in Region C and covers an area of the BigHorn Mountains. I was hoping to find some users of this site that may have been on hunts in this area or areas close by that can give me some tipson finding mullies here at this particular time of year, etc. Finding food sources and bedding areas??? I will be hunting primarily BLM and State land with hopes of possibly findinga rancher that will allow a trespass w/fee. I'm going unguided and will be driving from Michigan and have never been any farther West than Minnesota. If anyone has some good advice for making things a little easier and making the chances of harvesting an animal that much better it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You and Happy Hunting,
Dennis

I do not know the area but I would have to say check out the Aspens to the higher sage area. Also check out if there is any Oakbrush. They like to move threw those areas to get to bedding areas. Good luck and enjoy the Wild West. Jovan
