oh I have tried to rinse the in water. It does not work. The smalr hairs just sticks to the meat. I had heard that maybe vinager would work. I will give that a try today when I get back from hunting....

I only keep it for one year. That's just my opionion. What I will do is if I have any left in the freezer from the year before I will add to my scraps from this year to make sausage or meat sticks....
