I want to go practice my stalking and tracking in the woods for squirrels, but my mom has already said she wont cook it if i brought one back. Could I use it as bait or something. Anyone have any ideas?

No, not NC, but Close. I am from the Savannah GA area, though right now, I am living in a small desert town called Rutbah. It's way out in western Iraq, and we don't have any squirrels here to shoot at.

From the news I gather that there's no shortage of vermin to shoot there...

If it is good enough to kill it is good enought to eat.Why would you kill wild game and not eat it or give it to someone who loves wild game but can know longer hunt. There are many of those people out there that may be disabled and would love to have some fresh wild game.
