choke

If I've found the choke that works best in my 870 and I have it back bored, will the same choke still be the best or do I have to start patterning all over agan?

I wouldn' t worry about the #7 not doing the job. Federal makes a copper plated 7 1/2 turkey load that I tried out. They penetrated a piece of plywood way deeper than any other shot size at 45 yds....

TScott, my choke hates the HV also and I tried most of the loads you mentioned and found the Win. Double X #5 2oz beats them all by far. They may be worth a try in yours. Or maybe 2oz of 6s or 4s,...

I put the shaving cream on part of the bathroom mirrow yesrerday morning when showering. The part treated fogged but not NEAR as bad as the rest and it cleared up MUCH sooner. (barbasol)

Its on an 870. the corner of the mount and the bolt slam aganst your trigger finger every time you shoot. I grinded it down so it don' t draw blood but it still hurts the finger. I' ll have to use it...

the lower rear corner where the bolt goes through is at your trigger finger. My first shot made a blood blister and my second shot splattered blood. Has anyone else used one of these mounts?
