Most of the time about 15 minutes but have shot a bird less than 5 minutes from the house. The biggest problem with hunting close is you get into the woods to early and sunrise takes forever

At home about 5 minutes by foot, at our lease about 20 minutes. I have worked several Gobblers within about 250 to 300 yards from my back door. I guess I' m really lucky.

Depends on the species I' m after. If I chase Easterns, it takes me a little over an hour to drive, then a 45 minute hike. If I am after Merriam' s, it is a 7 hour drive and a 4 day camp.

Depending on the " HoneyHole" I' m hunting.The average distance is 18 - 30 miles One way.
But...There are some spots in another county,I will drive to.Because the hunting pressure is lighter,The longer drive is worth the type of hunt I' m wanting.ie - No other hunters other than my partners for at least 3 -4 miles.
