RE: Sighting in a bow?

Forget 40 unless you practice at 40. Aim to get really good at 30yds. Try this - shoot with the wrong foot positions, twist around, close your eyes for awhile after the draw, count to 100, sit in a...

RE: Correct stand placement? Help!!!

As another relatively newbie...hunt that spot off and on. Use a chair and hunt elsewhere too. We (I have 5 others I hunt with off and on) tend to see more from particular stands, but the random use...

RE: how to fin wounded deer

I am pretty sure I did the same to the last buck I hit (Monday night). We looked for 1.5hr and found nothing. The next morning I spent an hour and then found the blood trail (Field shot, then ran...

RE: Max time before deer goes bad in warm weather

Thanks guys (or gals too). Sounds like it was not wasted time to go back and look the next morning, even though I did not find it. Good.

RE: What to use to attract deer? Scents, corn etc...

I seem to have pretty good luck with the first time use of Ticks "Draw 2" deer courisity scent. Usually draws in bucks this time of year. Once you use it in one spot and a buck comes, I would...

Acorns are the key this week if you can find some dropping here in Missouri.

Finally bagged my first one on opening day.

I got it hunting in a grove of oaks (acorns falling like rain). Even...

RE: Missouri's Bowseason Is Almost Here!

Did some scouting Monday, saw some deer, and a gametrakker by a watering hole. Waved for the camera. Saw a 10pt at Longview Farms in Lees Summit yesterday and a doe herd this morning in front of my...

RE: Targets

I have a cube and it seems to be fine. Don't know if it is better than the cheaper knockoffs but it does cost more. I have a couple of hundred shots of field points into it and it shows nothing.

RE: no peep testimonial

I am thinking about getting a Timberline no-peep. The local shop has sold some, but 7 of the 8 that bought them no longer shoot them so the shop quit carrying it. I am going to try to get a used...

Peepless sights

I am sure this is an old topic, but the search does not go back far enough for me to found what I want to know about them. Last year I used a normal peep, whisker biscuit, mech release, and a cheap...
