Having commented in a number of places about the show, it's your typical made for TV drama. Just like Mountain Men, Pawn Stars, etc....It's scripted to cause drama.

I'd definitely sugest investing in a treestand and then practice getting up in it and shooting from it. It's very different than hunting from the ground.

Like some said already, proper tuning and shot placement play a large factor, more so than the broadhead you choose. Either of those broadheads can and will do the job if placed correctly.
