RE: accuracy vs inexpensive ammo

I've tried Fusions, Federal Nosler Partition, Remington Core-Lokt, Winchester XP3, Hornady SST & Interbond all in 130gr and my x-bolt in .270 preferred the Hornady's by far the best. Sub-moa for...

My dad and I are both left handed shooters. My dad owns a LH Browning A-bolt Medallion in 7mm Rem Mag with BOSS system and I must say it is a BEAUTIFUL rifle. A great shooter as well. With that...

RE: A day at the range with my 270. (Factory ammo only)

Found out my X-bolt loves Hornady factory ammo as well. Though I've only tried the interbonds and sst's.

Agreed, we hunt up by Gettysburg area and there is no corn out yet. Made it quite hard. Able to get 35 of the 42 needed on Saturday and 20 before having to leave early on Sunday so not all bad. ...

RE: heading for South Dakota

I mean a deep heavy frost/freeze. We hunt about 1.5-2hr west of Aberdeen and all of the beans are out. The corn hasn't been touched. I too hope its out for deer.

RE: Which caliber to complete this trio

no, no group missing. While shooting coyotes with a 12 ga. could happen around here while hunting pheasants and what not, odds are you won't get that close. This is wide open farming territory,...

RE: Which caliber to complete this trio

If the .243 wasn't so close to the 25-06, it would've probably made the list.
