Actually, here around Aberdeen, we just had our second frost this morning, and although there are still a lot of beans standing, there are some farmers thinking about starting on their corn pretty soon. It will probably be a pretty long, drawn-out harvest though, so those birds will have plenty of places to hide for a while. I just hope that there isn't much corn left standing for the deer opener..

i am in nw iowa, an hour from sioux falls, and they are just starting to get some of the corn out around here/there... iowa's opener is next week... should be lotsa fun! good luck to everyone out there pheasant hunting! stay safe!
