Default Best for whitetails?

I have been wondering this for a while but which states are good for whitetail deer hunting? I've heard that KS,WI,OK,MO,KY are good but from 1-10.

In terms of not a small buck by body mass and a small rack.

I'll be going to the Amory, MS area next year to bowhunt them. They lookalright there from what i saw. (Just one) it was a smaller 8 point though.

Thanks all.

If you are talking about body mass on deer, then all the mid west deer will be the biggest body wise....The states that bowman mentioned would all be mid-west states.

you cant rule out arkansas either..go to the ozark national forest or quachita national forest..millions of acres of public land.. the countless wildlife management areas to hunt

I take it down south, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS etc, the deer are really small and have smaller antlers? Are there alot of deer in the Midwest? Better to have fewer hunters, well at least not overcrowding which is rare here

I just hope im not disappointed when I go to MS for 3 weeks.

You will have a good time....Not all the deer in the south have small antlers, their body size on average is smaller than the mid west deer.....You won't be disappointed!!!!!

Thats true guys. I know what we have here: Red, roe, fallow and sika are different and the biggest is of course the red stag with minimum of 12 points the rest are monsters but im used to seeing them and looking for something different. I don't suspect alot of Scottish hunters will have many whitetails mounted on their walls

Do yall have any pictures of various whitetails to compare?

I would be very grateful.
