Absolutely not. I believe that trail cams are an aid, as well as calls and or scent cover ups. Plus, why waist time in an area with no deer, when you could be in an area that you have deer in.

The guy that i go deer hunting is just a beginner and uses a .243 or .273 cant remember which one. Then for a shotgun I started off with a .12 guage.

I use the cobra walkies, they have a 12 mile range, and a weather channel, and personal channels, they were about $60 at wal mart. They also come with earpieces...

I have no idea, but i know that where I hunt at, deer tags are like $30 for a combo deer license. 1 deer with at least 1 ,1 inch point, and the next deer has to have 4 or more points on one side...
