Doug,I can't figure out why people hunt deer where there's no sign either.That's why I don't waste my time hunting in the Mosh.ST forest.Possibly if I lived in the area and had the time to scout alot...

Doug,the kill rates are so low in the demap area because the populations are down below 10 dpsm in some areas.With those numbers that kill rate of 3-4 dpsm aint too bad.

Looks like a big bump up in 2004 and then a drop off in 05..I hope the demaps for that area don't increase in 06.For now the deer numbers are down and cutbacks were needed.That's good....

I'm pretty sure they increased the demap tags in areas of 2G up to last year Doug.I'm specifically thinking of Potter county.I did some searching to find out for sure but couldn't find the numbers.

Doug,99% of the time my posts here are directed at the DCNR and or Rendell.He's what I consider a wolf in sheep's clothing.Obviously the PGC wouldn't want to take our guns or hunting away.

I'll say this,hunters/gun owners can not fall asleep.The anti hunting anti gun groups tried hitting us head on and it didn't work.They know going underground as a wolf in sheep's clothing is the way...
