how do those remingtons work on deer? do they run far? I have always hunted with a 35 whelen for deer and they fall like a sack of potatoes.

Like Greg/Mo said.. I have one also, I really like the idea of having it fall away on it's little hinge,Comes in handy when you want to retrieve your arrows from the target also. Won'g get in the way.

ok go for it.. I just deleted all PM's.

10/22 is wood stock with blued barrel. 2 clips. 1 10 rounder and 1 20 or 30 rounder. I do not belive the stock is walnut.

Anyone seen oneof these new bolt actions from T/C yet? I was reading a shooting magazine last night and the rifle looks really impressive. The stock is beautufil and the bolt looks like a Sauer!
