RE: Official Team Tree Sharks (2) Thread

Made it out last night for a great night in the stand (see my blog for my journal entry). Had about a dozen deer come within range (does and a spike buck), but saw a shooter at 30 yds (through thick...

Wyoming Elk Records Online?

Anoyone know if the P&Y records of WY are online like those of my homestate (ND)?

Buddy of mine just got back from WY and shot a 6x6 that was green-scored at 354" - was curious for him where it...

RE: Official Team Tree Sharks (2) Thread

Going to be sighting in rifles Saturday, winterizing my camper, and pulling it out to the in-laws for storage after which I'll probably sit in a stand or a ground blind for an evening hunt.

RE: Antler/winter coat watch

Was out Monday night - cameras and all the bucks I saw were still in full velvet in northern ND.

RE: Will this PA 10 pt make P&Y???

Very close - although velvet makes it deceiving. Here's a 125 1/8 in velvet taken off my state's P&Y website for comparison:

RE: ok ..what goes in your back pack on every bow hunt?

1) Scent killer spray
2) bottle of water and maybe a sandwich or healthfood bar
3) Jacket (either waterproof or for warmth, to put on after I get in stand and cool off)
4) rangefinder

Pope & Young Statistics

Anyone know of an online resource that tells the number of P&Y bucks per state? I've seen the lists of the top 10, 20, etc... states but I'm looking for the actual number of P&Y whitetails per state....

RE: Official Team Tree Sharks (2) Thread

Nice buck Kodiak.

RE: Why do some of you even hunt?

Quality not quantity - I can spend LOTS of time looking for a quality deer. Here in ND, we can only get 1 bowtag and can apply for a rifle buck tag. Doe tags are nearly unlimited. I can easily spend...
