The way I see it, it's a good investment for a back up....but not as a weapon of choice, if you can stick to a compound.

Rattle bags or real antlers

I was thinking of using some of my sheds to try and rattle in a buck this year. I have a rattle bag but believe the real thing will work better, but I've heard otherwise.

Agree with PABwhntr......I've always heard you get the most performance out of your bow if it's maxed out. When you lower the #'s your actually loosening your limbs inside the pockets......not sure...
