What do you think of goose kites?

Has anyone ever used them?
I was considering buying them to bring wary birds in for a closer look but wanted to hear from someone who has used them.

I understand what you are saying about injuries affecting the opposite side. My dad shot a 5 X 1 last year. He had 5 nice points on one side and grew a weird spike on the other...likely an injury.

Coyote Caller...I don't really understand what you are saying. whether it is in velvet or not how does that indicate genetic trait or injury? All antlers begin in velvet whether they are irregular...

Check out this little buck. He is only a year old. His left main beam drops straight down off his head and the base of his right beam is the cirucmference of a hockey puck. He has two tines growing...

Thanks for the replies guys. I was thinking he would reach at least 150 since he has at least a month of growing left and maybe even some more. I have seen other mature bucks in the area that are 3-4...

I saw this buck last night on one of my farms that I hunt. I captured him on video, not still camera so I took a picture of him off the tv...thus the awful clarity. I would guess him to be pushing...

Buy a rangefinder, the distance with a laser is the same as the distance your arrow has to travel, thus you will never find a problem shooting from tree stands (assuming your form is not to blame)....

I have never used the glass one but I and a bunch of guys I hunt with all own the frictionite one. I have found it very easy to use and I love the ability to strap it onto my leg or gun or whatever.
