SchuylkillOutdoorsman,
I have to say that is probably the ugliest rack I have ever seen in my entire life
. I think I would have kicked the horns off and stuck a doe tag on it. My uncle shot one like that a couple of years ago and we made him hang it upside down and as far away from ours as possible

Seen a doe with a orange collar on its neck! while turkey hunting, she was not affrad at all. she did not run when i started walking closer! i got very close to this deer she had some scares on her hipe like where she was injured some time back and had a name on her collar that sead anderson #104 on it? i think it was someones pet that got out of it`s pin, But after that i never seen or heard about it again. I guess who ever it belong to they found it and put it back in it`s pin.

This past summer I got within 30 yards of a doe with a young fawn and the doe had a cyst or something like a cyst dangling off her neck. It was smaller than a tennis ball but bigger than a golf ball. It was dark and appeared to have some hair on it. it dangled very loosely. She seemed every bit healthy and was even a good size. Unfortunately she wasn't on a property we hunt because I would love to keep an eye out for her. I don't know what it was...any ideas?

Back in 2000 I was hunting the Lauderdale County WMA in Northwest Alabama and my buddy happened to get a Deer that morning, and as we left and headed for the Ranger/Checkout Station another hunter pulled up with what looked like a nice 10 Pointer, as we approached his trailer we saw the Ugliest Deer you could have laid eyes on, this Deer had patches of wart like growths from one end of its body to the other, I mean I don't think you could have laid a ruller on this animal anywhere without it touching a patch of these growths I had never seen anything like it before or since, I asked the Rangers about it and their answer was, it is a wart like virus that seems to be very popular in Deer and they assured me it in noway was dangerous to humans nor would it affect the quality of the meat. Well I'm sorry, "dangerous to humans- affect the meat" I couldn't care less I would have killed it just to cull it from the heard, but their ain't no way on Gods green earth I would have even considered eating that deer. I only wish I had a camera at the time we saw it, now I never go hunting without a camera in my pack, Ya know for those "Kodak moments" we always seem to miss out on.
