He's a nice deer. He might make 130. One thing, you don't have a lot of deductions. Your spread and beam length is where most of your pts are and he has some mass. that will count more than you...

One thimg I don't like about the simmons on my 243 is the crosshair is too big. I tried looking at adeer across a bean field about 400 yds and seemed like the hair covered half of him up

I would like to try a BDC again, but we don't have much use for them around here. if your sighted in a 200 here that's about as far as you'll need to shoot. Most every thing is within 50 or so.

I have to defend the 243. It ain't no 270(which I have never shot), but ain't a whitetail been sired that will take the full brunt of a 243.

I have a simmon's on my mod70 243 wssm. It came with it. No probs after 2 years. I have a 44mag on a REM 597 that's a guessing game. It don't take kindly to riding in a truck.
