Default VA success

Hey Guys,
I posted this on the crossbow forum also. I took my father-in-law out to one of my secret spots in Fairfax on Saturday. I have been saving this property for him to hunt whenever he could come up. I have been putting the trailcams on it pretty much every week and have one big 8ptr that is once again predictable. I set us up in afunnel and wouldn't you know it, he came stiff legging it in at 7am and my father-in-law put a great shot on him. He went about 40 yards and went down. It is the largest deer he has ever shot and was a brilliant day. I have about 8 trailcam shots of this buck since October. Any idea what you think he would score?

Congrats that is a great buck. You must have a good relationship with your father in law because that was awfully generous of you. Good to see nice bucks killed in VA.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I measured the buck and he scored 139 4/8's, but I know he has to dry for 60 days. I think he will definately beat the 125 P&Y minimum. I don't know if P&Y recognizes crossbows or not.
