Default SIMMONS SCOPES

I was offered from a guy at the range yesterday a 44 mag: simmons scope
new 3.8x12x44 MM with smart reticle: I think he was looking for $90.00 for the scope.
I see from optic zone the newer MASTER SERIES SCOPES wonder the pro or cons on the above scope?? I am still looking
I think the 44 mag: scope are no longer made woder how they did on performance as far as a good scope for the money

I have the same scope in 3x10 and it could not hold poa/poi on a .303 enfield, so I would not put it on anything larger, maybe keep on a .22 or something. I was disappointed with it and will never buy another simmons ever again.

For $50, it's a good buy Rick. The only issues are durability. Keep it at 100 grains powder/300 gr. bulletor less - if using this on your muzzleloader.
