Well i see it is not only in Michigan, that this happens, it been going on here ever since i started hunting, 35 years ago. I don't think it will ever change, unless the deer can shoot back, or hell...

I agree that more Doe tags should be issued, but only in the areas, where the Buck to Doe ratio is out of wack.

It sounds to me your DNR, is no different than the one up here in Michigan, when it comes to whitetail deer, they change there opinion every other day, on what to do with the heard, frist they sale...

It was this year after the season was over that i heard a friend, i should say a x-friend of mine had shot 21 deer, over the three months of our, bow and gun seasons this year.

I think a button buck should be taged with a buck tag, even when shot by mistake, I'am the one that put this question on the boared, at the time i was mot a member, so i didn't put my name on it....
