Switching to 100g tips seemed to let my arrows fly a little flatter. I noticed with 125g (with a friend watching) my arrows tended to drop more than I liked....

No it will not cut the wiskers..however, it can dull your blades...I would continue to load your arrows fletching first...Be sure to watch carefully to make sure you do not have loosening...

I prefer plastic vaines, because they are more forgiving. I also like a four inch vane with a slight right helic...Tends to help my arrows travel a little truer...Longer vanes tend to add more...

How much you loose on the wisker buscuit depends on the arrow weight and type...carbon, aluminum etc,,... The average is around 4 to 5 fps...I know this to be true from using one myself and testing...
