this spring i am going to bowhunt for turkeys and use my gun, should i hunt from a ground blind, what type of broadheads to use, what type of arrows, and how to get from being seen by a gobbler when your drawing your bow.

If you use a ground blind the turkey will
not see you draw your bow! Use an expandable
broad head and aim for the base of the wing.
I use my eastons no problem,good luck good

I love to bowhunt for turkeys. If you dont like using expandable broadheads, you can put a washer behind your fixed blade or you can buy stoppers from cabelas or bass pro(ive said this 1000 times, lol)I dont use a blind cause i dont like to carry one, but i do make one when i get to my spot. If you can get one to decoy, wait till the turkey struts, then draw it back. I ahve an advantage though, the place i hunt has a little drainige ditch the turkeys go through, i jsut draw when they go through it. I use my regular easto XX78 super slams, and they seem to get the job done. But you dont want a complete pass through. Hope this helps.

adding to what these guys have said you can also aim at the beard just above it and if they are strutting with there back to you right up the poop shoot works. dont even try to draw if you can see their eyes. if you can see their eyes they can see you! if you have a blind they wont see you. if you dont have a blind try to set up with a tree in front of you to hide your draw and one behind you to break up your outline. good luck! it is one of the harder trophies to take with a bow.

I have taken 5 turkeys with a bow, four with a 4 bladed Muzzy(90 gr.) and one with a 100 gr. Spitfire. The Spitfire left a 2 inch slice in the breast. Turkeys look up in trees for hawks and owls and spot hunters in seconds. The ICE ground blind is the best one going by Double Bull archery for turkeys. It is expensive but worth it for a lifetime blind. It can be found in Cabelas or ordered directly. They have a shoot thru windown that is huge. I had one jake at 5 yds. and he didn't know what hit him. In IL it is illegal to put a stopping deivce on the arrow and therefore I use whatever broadhead I have with me for deer in the fall. Shoot for the base of the wing or the widest body area. Good luck!

Just to add to Bo's comment..The reason you don't want a pass through with a turkey is this...Turkeys can fly at around 50mph...If you hit one and it passes through..He will fly..guaranteed..At that speed..you may never find that turkey you just spend hours waiting on...Good luck..
