** You might do a search on this in the QDM forum and find the answers your looking for.

You may be refering to Deer Co-Caine? If thats what your talking about it has worked great for me. I use it and the deer tear it up. The "trick" is the natural minerals in your soil. If deer can naturally get the minerals they won't pay any attention to the Deer Cocaine. My buddies and I have all had great success with it but I know other folks who put it out and the deer didn't touch it. You just need to buy some and try it.

It isn't a "miracle cure" or "magic" but I will assure you if your deer need the minerals and nutrients in it, they will literally dig holes in the ground! Buy a bag and try it, if it doesn't work, you didn't loose much. Good luck

I have tried it here in NY and really didn't have any success. Personally, I don't expect to try it again.

I've seen DEER CAINE and I have used it. When I put it out in the fall, they don't touch it. When I put it out in the spring, they gobble it up. It has to do with the minerals they need for their racks to grow.
Just follow the directions on the package and mix with water first, there is a reason for this, it's important. Then you pour it on the ground. the deer tear the ground up, eating the dirt!

Deer Cane and similar products are designed to use in a cleared area around 3' in diameter...There are some products that are syrupy in texture that are made to put on stumps...Some of these are great..I have personally seen deer devour a hickory stump using this stuff...Read your product labels to make sure what you are getting..
