As many all day hunts as you can do right now...

As many all day hunts as you can do right now will give you the best opportunity. The rut is just starting in the Nebraska/IA corridor.

RE: Elk hunting

Huckleberry makes a good point, especially early in the season. Camp high and hunt high. The cooler the better.

For Bucks: Nothing under what appears to be Pope and Young

RE: Urinating from your stand

Even though many say that it does not spook the deer, I would not encourage peeing all around your stand. Big bucks are big for a reason. They say deer are colorblind also, but you still buy your...

RE: My Admiral Experience

Having Bowtech react slow to issues is an ongoing problem. I got the run around for well over a month before I returned my General. I bought a Katera and never realized how accurate a bow could be....

RE: I think they got poached.

This happens every year. Arguably the favorite food of bone heads this time of year are acorns. I bet that if you find an oak grove near your area and you set up a trail cam, you will see your...

RE: Preseason bucks everywhere, now vanished

Thebucks haven't dissapeared! They have moved to one of their favorite food sources this time of year. You find an oak grove and you'll find the bucks. They are tearing up the acorns up here in the...

RE: New Bowtech's and Diamond's

No thanks. Had a General that was sent back twice, once before the recall and once after and had too many issues. I purchased a quiver online right before I returned the bow and I have called Bowtech...

RE: Loose nocks - any tips?

I say change to Easton Axis Nano's. They don't require a baggie in order to hunt. http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/micons/m9.gif:D

RE: TAKE A STAND!

All of us have been in this situation. . . A 120" hanging around our stand, giving us a perfect broadside shot. It is hard to resist. I used to be like that as well, until I took a nice deer, and...

RE: Anyone grip their bow between thier middle and ring finger?

Just tried it in my basement! Possibly the most painfully stupid thing that I have ever done. It puts a major strain on the wrist. They most likely got this technique from the pro shop I "used" to go...

RE: Which Broadhead to use???

I shoot G5 Tekan's and have killed 5 deer with them. They have never not opened correctly, unlike rage 2 blades that I have had issues with in the past.
