yeah i use a fixed blade as well. The last raccoon I shot i skinned, and now i am trying to taxidermy it myself. I taxied a squirrel and turned out nice so we'll have to see how this one goes!

I have mounted a squirrel before using dry preservative, but its my first time to do a whitetail deer and I just got a cape wet tanned. I'm not one hundred percent sure what work needs to be done...
