I was wondering if anyone has anytips for telling if a deer is a buck or doe after the shed?
I got this pic the other day and I was thinking it could possibly be a buck, because of the neck seems bigger than most does, how gray it is and the snout dosnt look like a doe. and any age guesstimates?

IMHO
Bucks are much darker, especially on the skullcap. And you can see how a buck ears lay down much flatter. I should have had a camera with me last night, I saw two perfect illustrations of this.
