I have a salt lick in the river bottoms, have had it for about 5 years. I put my camera up yesterday wheni went down for turkey season. I will have some pictures to lookat in about 2 months. The salt lick had a lots of deer tracks an hog tracks in it.

This place has draw lined with cottonwood trees and gum trees about 30 yards wide runs up an ends with theview that you see in that picture. Thearea has about five or six big redoak an penoak trees. The area is surrounded by pine trees. The deer bed in the pines an feed in this area when the acrons start hitting the ground. They also drink out of the salt lick an lick the ground when they are in the area, my climber is put on a tree about 20 yards away.
