we won the first contest 2 lunger, but we only got 4 for the next contest. It had just snowed on friday and we didn't have hardly any luck after that fresh batch of snow. It seems like the snow really keeps the coon in the trees for a couple nights. as anybody else noticed that?

We won the first contest 2 lunger with a 26 lb coon. Last weekend we had another contest, but we didnt' have much luck. we shot 4 coon all night and didn't have anything over 16 lbs. we had a fresh snowfall friday and had 4 inches on the ground sat night. the coon didnt' seem to come out of the trees at all last weekend because of the snow. I've noticed that in previous years as well. they seem to not like the snow unless the temps are above ave. anybody else noticed anything like that?

I've noticed that myself in the past huntboy. I don't know if they don't like the snow on their feet or what. But like you said, if it's warm and the snow is melting they seem to run. How many you got so far? Have you sold any and if you have what are you getting for an average?
