I ve a 3-9x40 with the ballistic plex reticle on my .270, and one on my .300 Win Mag. They are the BEST scopes I have ever used. Both have been through hundreds of rounds and ABSOLUTELY hold zero. As for thier customer service, I would also have to disagree. My buddy Mike had a Burris scope on his .264 Win Mag, and his horse dumped it out of the scabbard and stepped on it. He called Burris to inquire what it would cost him to repair it. They told him to send it back because IT WAS WARRANTEED! 10 days later he had a brand new scope. That same rifle was again dumped by his horse in the dark, while returning from a very long day of Elk hunting. He did'nt notice it was gone till he got back to camp. He was lucky enough to find it the next morning, and brought it back to camp to confirm zero. His groups were still dead on, under an inch at 200 yards.

Well the information seems to be feast or famine....I'm not getting too many people that are in the middel or luke-warm about this.

Ron G sounds like the complete opposite of my experience with Burris. I know they have been taken over by Beretta maybe they are getting in line finally.

I think the bushnell elite 3200 is a great scope for the money.

I have 2 also. I got one and put it on my 270 and liked it so much I put one on my 7-08
It is very clear as is the 20x spotting scope.
I really like the ballistic plex. Tried it out this past weekend. Shooting dead on at 100 yds., the 300 yd reticle prints about 1 1/2" high with my load.
Can't wait for my upcoming antelope/mulie hunt.

oldelkhunter.I got the 3x9 back from buris in 15 days, said it was fixed so I mounted it on a savage muzzleloader, took it to the range shot it @100 yds shot good went to 200 yds shot three 3-shot groups less than 2 inches.
Went back monday shot one shot was dead center of the bull, the next 2 were about 10 in high.so I checked the mounting screws and all were tight. It was doing the same as it did before I sent it to be repaired. My buddie called burris and they said to send it back,so I did yesterday. Will try again when I get it back.
Haven't put the 4x14 on yet, having the rifle bedded and hadn't got it back yet.
