I have a Simmons 8-Point 3-9x50 on my Savage 116, and I think it is a great scope.

I really appreciate the offer, but I have already paid for the Simmons scope. I only allow myself so much money to spend on hunting and guns. I have gone way over that this year. I have two kids that I have to look in the eye everyday. They need things like a college fund and cars and other things I should save for now. I have two futures to think about first. I would love to put a leupold on this gun but it will have to be in a year or two. Thanks again for the offer. Maybe if you hold on to it we can arrange something next year. Thanks , Chip

standsleeper.

I have a Leupold Vari X 1 that I will sell you for $100.00 + Shipping if you are interested. If not then I think that your Simmons will do verry well for you. I have had a 3X9X40 Pronghorn on one of my 243's for about 5 years now and am still popping Cyotes without a problem.

Let me know and we will work something out.

Best of luck.
