Nice shooting Bob!! My 20 yard groups are nothing to brag about with my recurve. Every day before I head out hunting I shoot a few arrows. Some days I'm hitting awesome at the 20 yard range and some days not so well. It all depends how I feel that day on taking a 20 yard shot. Allot of folks can nail these targets any day of the week but when it comes to being in a hunting situation everything changes and some folks really loose it. A guy I know who was the Minnesota state champ in some sort of Archery class (I can't remember what it was) couldn't get a deer to save his but. When it came to shooting at a live animal his awesome archery skills didn't get him anywhere. This particular guy is a heck of a person, he's told me numerous times that he would trade his target shooting any day for being productive in the bow hunting world. I really feel for the guy, I've tried everything I can to help him keep his cool when hunting but so far nothing has worked yet.

I hear ya Schulty.

A lot can break down form wise in the hunting world. Keeping your head and picking the spot is what it's all about. I have shot over the backs (never under, or right/left) of enough deer to know that.

This particular shotstuck mainly because I was using the XX78 super swaged arrows (g-nock, no insert in the back). It would have been very difficult with the regular type swage ends with glue on nocks. I've killed a lot of nocks and arrowswith that type of setup, but never got the full robin hood.
