I have a feeling change is on the way for NY. PA's success is going to push you guys. We have the same argument here in MI. Change is coming for us, and I am happy to be part of it.

For someone who doesn't like decisions based on fear.............you don't mind peddling it

Not if anyone reads the regional boards on many different sites and see's all the complaining going on.

NY already has certain are's that cater to QDM your into it go hunt there.

If I only have limited time to hunt and decide to shoot a four point what buisness should it be of yours? With thehuge amount of deer getting hit by cars in my area it won't make much of a difference.

I have hunted more then a few days in "QDM" zones............it sucked. Didn't even see a deer. The DEC keeps track of how many bucks come out of these zones and last year it was 1.........on a shotgun drive. Whoopity freakin' do..........yea I'm in a real hurry to make the whole state like that

I agree with you people should shoot what they want 100%, but big bucks is big money so lets be honest and try to get a system works for eveyone.
Yea then we can have the problems they do in many of the big buck states, outfitters buying up land and making it hard for an average guy to finda spot to hunt. We need hunting to become the sport ot the rich right?

Kip P. Adams
Wildlife Biologist &
Regional Director, QDMA

No bias there right?

Of course not.................it MUST be true if Kip said it

I love how he says 75-100 is "by far" more interest then 50-75 in his attendence figures

So you guy can see not everyone thinks the same in NY
It's NY man you don't think we know that.

I've hunted this state for 30 years seen it go from 5 guys on a "party permit" (doe permit) to being able to take up to what is it now 7 deer?

Plenty of really nice bucks get killed around here every year. Don't see a need to mandate AR's.

The old days of arm bands and party permits..............couldn't even shoot a doe and saw plenty of them.........now I have enough tags to make a book and don't see half as many deer.

Yup............those biologists sure know what they are doin'

I see and shoot plenty of them So I do not get your point, matter of fact your odds in NY are better than mine in MI
If we both hunted 2,000 acre family farms that would be true

So is it possible that there already are plenty of big mature bucks out there and the herd is way healthier then we know...............because we just don't see them remember??
