ground blinds

I use the Ameristep Doghouse, got it cheap on ebay (55$)
Just remember Brush it in, brush it in, and then brush it in again.
I was using self-made ground blinds just made with deadfall, sapplings and the like...now those spots are even better b.c. i stick my ameristep in the natural blind, it has worked for me well, Deer and Turkey.
Good Luck

My advice is to scout ahead of time and pick a spot to hunt. Dont get a blind because you can move around every couple of hours. You need to find a good spot and stay put. I have trouble drawing my bow in my blind because it isn't quite large enough. Make sure if you get one it is big enough to bow hunt out of.

I just picked up a Trekker t-200 that is 8" larger square than the doghouse because I was told it was hard to draw a 30" draw length in the 60" square frame of the dog house. I basically bought it to go into the thick brush that I hunt every so often. Will I need to brush mine in being I will be in brush all over?
I also bought it so I could take my daughter out.

I have a Cabela's Full Draw blind. Pretty happy with it... The only thing I would change is that there is limited ability to shoot out the back of the blind - but I try and keep that in mind when picking the setup location.
