I don't pretend my 19 years in the NY woods gives me the first clue about what happens in MI, your daddy's farm or any other place for that matter.
Really so the cherry picking comment[&:] So easy onon Daddy's farm. Hmmm

I have ask how many mature deer do you think you have in square mile(640 acres)

Between you and the most long winded, whiney school girl, posts of atlasman, I can't figure out who is the most delusional.

Coming from the guy who sits in his stand in the middle of 1,000+ acres practically to himself in a state known for good size deer and then hurts his arm patting himself on the back at his mythical hunting skills that other meer mortals just can't comprehend.

Let me borrow one of your books Greg...........I'll tear out the pages and wipe my arse with them next time I leave a steamy pile of your wisdom in the woods.

Time for a reality check man.

Since Atlas can not answer my ? with his 19 years in the woods. Please someone from NY who hunts near Atlas tell me how many mature bucks they have 1 sq mile?

1st Atlas I really am enjoying this thread.

What is your definition of "mature deer in your area"?? 1? 10? 50?
Lets take a square mile 640 Acers.

How manydo you think you have in your area(bucks)?

My best guess for Northen MI is 1 to 2, I am getting my data from my Cousin who hunts there a lot. He is very good hunter, 2 bucks and 1 doe with a bow. He hunts the same block and see's 2 maturebucks a year. He has taken 2 with a rifle.

My farm-areaI would say 3 to 4 1 per farm in the area.
Like I said.........trying to use real numbers is not of much use here because you are just guessing and the margin of error is even higher then the DEC's method of calculating the deer herd around here (Not that it stops them).

Just say what's on your mind.

That has nothing to do with MI vs NY...........common sense. I don't think you would get 1 person to tell you that 2,000 acres of daddy's farm that has produced 16 P+Y bucks in as many years is not cherry picking compared to other heavily hunted small parcels or public land battlefields. You said so yourself.

once again you show you do not read threads. 126 acres is how big our farm is. Uncles is 139. 2000 is the area where deer live. 16 in a lifetime, we have owned it for 160+ years.

I know my woods though. I just don't pretend to know everyone else's (like some people)
Hell I can't let THAT go. You knew MY bucks better than I did, last year!!
