Well next year it's going to be a rule that the score be shown per measurements, call me skeptical too. ?

And I love the deer porn too, oh and the boobies someone else mentioned, love em.

I think this is a great idea. I think it would help avoid a lot of honest mistakes, and prevent anyone from being dishonest (not that anyone on here would do that [8D]).

I am glad the suggestion was taken and implemented for next year.

I will go back and edit mycontest entryto include my measurements, I don't want to be the pot calling the kettle black

I don't necessary think people purposely post incorrect scores, but as Shed said, they aren't familiar with the proper scoring technique.

I have got to say it is enjoyable being on the outside looking in on these threads these days....

I learned a couple years ago you get no where debating AR'sor QDMwith Atlas. As I am sure he feels the same with us on the other side of the coin...

I am sure he is a fine personas well as anethical hunter who is passionate about our pastime...... Which I believe isthe most important and what huntingis all about.

I really do hope his time and efforts are rewarded with a good buck. He deserves one as much as anyone else....

Unless we had everyone have their deer officially gross scored for the contest by an official b/c or p/y scorer we will never have exacts. I really dont thinkits so much adeception issue, I simply think folks don't have a lot of experience with accurate measuring.
I'd agree with this. I'm not in the contests, but I score all my deer according to the scoresheet from B&C. I have to say my calculations come out way higher than what I think the deer actuallyare by visibly looking at the rack based on other racks and their scores. I usually try to cut myself short in my measurements too (if anything) because the ultimate score seems to always come out higher than I think it really is. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I follow all the measurements to a T.

That being said ....... I think I like my way of scoring better anyway whatever it is Im doing[8D]
