They do make some weird noises at diferant times , late at night big whitetail bucks will make a warning sound thats like a high pitched elk bugle , kind of like a steam wistle , only had one other person decribe this sound to me that I heard years ago chaseing a wounded buck late at night .

For years I have been trying to emulate a sound that when I first heard it sounded like somebody was riding a dirt bike up thru the woods. It turned out to be a huge eight point chasing a screaming doe. Three other bucks all converged on the area near my stand and those three got in a three way brawl. The new call sounds just like what I heard. I have one and will be using it now, have not used it because I think it is a rut call but I will give it a try tonite.

I got one but haven't used it yet. Looks like it worked well on the Drury outdoors Dream Season 9 video.

I have to admit i was very fortunate the other nite to get that 8 pointer turned around and into my stand area even though he didnt offer me a shot, there is just no sign of the rut yet here in wi.

O.K. I'm sold........ where do I get one....and the line forms to the rear.

What kind of buck/doe ratio do you have on and near your property? I've read that the "growl" works significantly better with a decent buck to doe ratio... Seeing as I hunt out by u, I may have to get one to try... Where did you get it?

Jared whats up. Our buck to do ratio is quite low on our farm in Neillsville, we have more does than bucks. But it did work and worked well untill Mike showed up lol. I picked mine up at All Seasons Sport and Archery downtown Neillsville. Its kiddy cornered from the gazebo at the 4 way stop on Hewitt. Mike Murphy is the owner, just tell him Tony sent ya. Hows the hunting going this year so far, have you gotten a chance to get up and hunt the forest yet this year, havent heard much from you since before you came up the last time.
