I agree. I am a Darton dealer, and a good friend of mine is a die hard Bow Tech shooter as is his son. He had a bow issue with his sons Aleagence. He took it back to his dealer, and they looked it over and put a new string on it. He took the bow home and his son shot the bow several times. The bow still wasn't right and he took the bow back to his dealer. The dealer had the boy shoot the bow a few times for him, and said that there was nothing wrong with it the boy just had target panic. He was very up set, and I said i really didn't know if I could help him, but would try. He brought the bow over to my shop, and we looked it over. The first thing I noticed was the cam dots were not the same. There were 5 on one side, and 7 on the other. I also noticed there were no nock on the string out by the cams. I know that Bow Tech puts these on, so I called bow tech. They said that it must of been a different string if it didn't have the nocks on it. I explained that I wasn't the Bow Tech dealer, and told them the story.I also told them that there were only two days until the IBO shoot. They were very cool about the whole thing, next day aired the strings nocks and all specs I needed. We got the bow set up and it shot great. He went on to win his shoot. Sorry for the long winded story, just wanted to let you know that problems aren't always the company. Oh yea this is also the same dealer that is too close to me so I can't sell Bow Tech. If he continues on the same road though I think there will be an opening soon. I love the Dartons, but would be very happy to pick up Bow Tech.

After reading all this the conclusion is obvious:

This is a dealer/pro-shop problem.
Your pro-shop did not take care of you and it sounds like
he has some bad history or problems with Bowtech.

I hope you got your Hoyt from a different establishment.

P.S. You don't send a letter to upper managment directly, you keep calling the numbers and ask to speak to the person in charge and work your way up that way. Of course, that doesn't necessarily pardon a lack of response.

I have to agree with MeanV, I have mailed several times with Pat at Bowtech and he kindly helped me along ( even with the dumb questions I had as a Belgian novice )...
I shoot a tomkat and I can't say I heard any bad things about it over here. Even the Hoyt shop where I go to buy arrows and stuff tells me I have a decent rig.....

All I know is I switched to mathews several years ago and have never had a problem. I did call to ask about upgrading 1 of my older bows to new features and happened to ask the name of the polite helpful customer service rep and it turned out to be matt mcpherson! Needless to say,I was impressed that the head of company was actually answering the phone-talk about a hands on approch! He invited me to tour the plant sometime and I'm a nobody.

I had almost the same problem with Bowtech a year ago. My cams started leaning on my 2006 Tribute and rubbbing the inside of the limbs. I took it to my dealer and they said it needed new cams and axles. They talked to bowtech while I was there but the Bowtech person thought (without seeing the bow) that it only needed new limbs. my dealer said send both limbs and the cams and axles. The bowtech person said OK and expect it within a week. 3 weeks later (i was pissed off)the limbs come in nothing else. my dealer put the limbs on and still the problem persisted. Repeated calls to bowtech from my dealerwere unanswered for more than I week as I waited for the cams to come in. Finally he got through and ordered the cams again. Another month passes by, and my cams and axles finally came in-problem solved.
Bowtech almost lost a good customer and if it happens again-I'm done with them. I emailed bowtech and somebody called me and said she would forward my email to the appropriate people and I would be contacted again. Guess what- that never happened.
I was two months waiting on a simple repair. After reading your problem its obvious that Bowtech isn't too concerned with their customers' satisfaction like they say the are.

Well, I recently had a problem with my '05 Diamond. After a few weeks of dealing with a pro shop that had me going in circles I called Bowtech. I got fast, positive results. When I called I got sent to voicemail. I got a call back about 15 minutes later. Upon completion of airing my complaints, I was told that he,(the customer service rep.), would look into it. 10 minutes later the shop called. My bow would be ready the same day and they would throw in an extra set of limbs as well.
In my eyes Bowtech took care of business and they did it in a rapid manner. I won't have any problem with buying another of thier products.

Boy, every other post of yours is bashing bowtech. Did the owner sleep with your wife or something?

Gee..when its about another bow brand no one seems to care about the bashing. But the minute something is about Bowtech the fights start. Im not bashing them, but ive heard of too many things about Bowtech that i wouldnt think of getting one. Just my opinion.
