I don't know, they don't look too bad. In reality its a perfect time to release these with the on going changes a TC. They did the right thing with the little horn in offering different color stocks. Appeals to boys and girls. I like the Bighorn out of all of them. Just cant see buying another 50 cal. Now if someone would offer a .45 or .54 inline or even a .30 call something. I would think about buying one. Always good of have more gun makers.

I'm glad to see the ol TK2000. I have one and it shoots excellent. The Lord and myself know I took a bird at 62 yards one year (lasered distanced) The price they want is great, the old new ones started around mid 350s with Thumbhole stock. Even if these are old stock I may get another. Just a fun gun to shoot. I tried it with rabbit using smaller loads and works well also. Seen a tv program in which they were taking pheasant with it using a different choke than the one that comes with it. A fellow on here was wondering where to get a different choke, I guess they may have all of them back for purchase now. A gun geared to kids (Littlehorn) in different colors is a nice touch, I think they had one years back but I cannot remember what it was called (Wolverine?).

I personally like the line up to get things started again. I think the disc is the rifle that really revolutionized inlines. One way or another, everyone got on board with that way of thinking. The disc is also very popular today, granted the Lehigh conversion is very nice as well. The only thing that I really would have liked to have seen is more fluted barrels both blued and stainless. This was a better line up than bringing anything back with a rolling block or a hinge. Kudos to the new Knight boys!! Just be consistent and continue to put the excellent quality in the guns and continue to dazzle us with second to none customer service.

Dirtier and not as accurate???

Never heard these before. I am shooting the Knight Vision, which is a break open rifle with the new improved bp. It is very accurate and isn't dirtier then any other ML I have ever owned.

Oh yeah, let me get this right. Knight drops the Vision, which can shoot BH209 with the new bp and goes back to an old plastic holding primer gun!?!?! I don't get it.

Glad I got my Vision when I did!

Even though i do agree with some points, many people felt the Vision strayed too far from Knight's "roots" and was part of the reason they lost a large amount of the market and ceased production shortly afterward.

The new owners from the first press release announced they wanted to sell the "meat and potatoes" guns that made Knight famous and maybe a new offering. IMO they came pretty close to that objective but i do think some pricing could be improved. We will see what May brings and what kind of dealer network follows based on Pre-Order sales.

I too think the Vision has huge potential and you can still get them in SS for about $220 at http://shop.sportsmansguide.com/net/....aspx?a=748488

They do come with the FPJ if the description is correct but as we know that is an easy fix if you dont like them. I would guess they chose other models based on old stock parts availability and weight concerns in the youth models. It would be pretty hard to make a 6.5lb Vision without a lot of retooling. IIRC the Bighorn can be turned into a NFPJ but it still has the limitations of a plunger gun that some people (BH209 users) might really dislike.

People are complaining of a lack of many new models yet i bet if Doc White went back in full production and only offered the Super 91s and another model, you wouldn't see a single complaint.

Now you are comparing apples to oranges. If Knight ever made a gun to compare favorably with the Whites I would not want them to change their model lineup either.
Personally, I feel if Knight had reintroduced the mk-85 it would be a winner. For my taste that gun has a fit and feel to it like no other Knight model. The Bighorn is cheaper to produce so they went that route, somewhat understandably.

I thought the comparison of "Choosing to sell" two of the top selling models was a fair comparison. The Extreme was one of the best selling Knights next to the MK85 and its variants. The Super91 was probably the favorite of many White owners and gets the most praise.

Im comparing the hypothetical actions of customers/company restarting and the "best selling" product choices for a profitable return on the investment. Not so much the product itself. Maybe a MK-85 made just like the original would be a better comparison of the actual product since there are more similarities.

OK I understand what you mean.
On another note, I find myself wondering if the tooling costs to produce a faster twist barrel is what made that option out of the question. When your barrel and reciever are "one piece" like Knight's, you do not have the option of using a different barrel in the same reciever like the early Knight's did and like the White's did.

Going back and looking at them, I agree - it's a nice lineup. For me, I'm in the very fortunate position that I think this spring or summer I'm going to be able to buy "one last" gun for awhile. The down side is it's going to be years before I get a chance at another one. The plus side is I get to spend $600-$700 on one. I have a Disc Extreme and a KRB. I'm not sure that for that money I'm really getting anything different than what I have. I guess maybe if they end up being a lot cleaner than the old ones then maybe I'll think much more about it.
Or if I stare at them long enough maybe I'll decide I should have one anyway. And who knows, if I can make myself wait until May there still might be something new coming out.

Interchangeability is a great idea IMO. It lowers production costs and gives the consumers way more stock options.

Ive put a LRH in a Elite stock without a problem and if you dont mind some extra cut outs some plunger guns will fit in Extreme stocks as SabotLoader has done. Im considering that route also in a composite and fill it in then get it dipped for my MK85.

The MK was truly a sweeeeeeet rifle. I wouldn't have believed how nice until i actually bought one. I would watch for a possible LE return of them too. Hopefully just like the original, not kinda like it.

Im really not sure why the first run wasn't the faster twist but i havent given up hope that its still on the table. IMO if for no other reason than a feature that is unique to Knights, such as a 1-26 just as an example.

I can only guess new old stock parts need to be moved and some capital needs to replace them before they invest more into the R&D and even new models.

I will sit back and see what happens this year and maybe they might announce something new in May. Until then i will try to resist the temptation of a Mountaineer but i must have one of those stocks even if i need to do some inletting.
