Interchangeability is a great idea IMO. It lowers production costs and gives the consumers way more stock options.
Ive put a LRH in a Elite stock without a problem and if you dont mind some extra cut outs some plunger guns will fit in Extreme stocks as SabotLoader has done. Im considering that route also in a composite and fill it in then get it dipped for my MK85.
The MK was truly a sweeeeeeet rifle. I wouldn't have believed how nice until i actually bought one. I would watch for a possible LE return of them too. Hopefully just like the original, not kinda like it.
Im really not sure why the first run wasn't the faster twist but i havent given up hope that its still on the table. IMO if for no other reason than a feature that is unique to Knights, such as a 1-26 just as an example.
I can only guess new old stock parts need to be moved and some capital needs to replace them before they invest more into the R&D and even new models.
I will sit back and see what happens this year and maybe they might announce something new in May. Until then i will try to resist the temptation of a Mountaineer but i must have one of those stocks even if i need to do some inletting.
