Hunting logged areas?

RE: Hunting logged areas?
our land, 750 acres, is very cut over. My family owns a lumber/logging business so we harvest trees out of it every year. The deer just hang tighter to cover, they have less trails it seems. We get shorter shots then normal, and thats ok. We do more drives to push them out of cover. We have hunted a clear cut there for several years, and it used to be as translucent as a boiler plate. Now its getting clearer. Logging helps the deer.

I am hesitant to post this, but if you have the right set up, the knowledge, and the man power, these cut over area can be maintained for an extended time by periodic burns. Before you try, get some expert advise on this or it could lead to a disaster.
