I deer hunt in the south and most shots are around 100 yards. I hunt with a .30-06 and have been shooting 165 grain nosler patritions for the last several years. I have shot several large bucks and been happy with their performance. I was in the store a couple of weeks ago and picked up a box of the new winchester XP3 bullets for a .30-06. I'm not sure why but i decided to buy them. As the rut approaches, I am not sure which bullet to bring with me. I have read several reviews on them but everyone seems to either love them or hate them. Does anyone out there have any personal experience with the XP3.... Thanks for the help.

SHoot them both out of your rifle and see which one is more accurate. Both of those bullet will do the job on a deer and neither better then the other.
