If anyone can point me in the right direction for an elk hunting spot in unit 12 for the second season I would be grateful. Several years ago I was told the area around Dunkley Pass or Bunker Basin would be an area to look into. I did drive over to the area to look at it but never hunted it since were were camped over in unit 14 that year.

No its not too late. I'm looking for information for next years hunt. This year most of the elk had already left for lower ground by the time we got there in the 3rd season unit 15. I guess the elk didn't like the 20" of crusted snow anymore than I did! So any help would be great. Another person also told me to look into Horse Ridge and Salt Park area.
