FIRST WELCOME TO THE BOARD, YOU BEST BET FOR CAMO WOULD BE LOOK AT WHAT THE SURROUNDINGS ARE AROUND THE AREA YOU WANT TO HUNT, PICK A CAMO PATTERN THAT IS THE SAME OR CLOSE TO IT. DO YOU HAVE ANY TURKEY CALLS??? IF NOT I WOULD SAY GET A SLATE CALL FOR A FIRST TIMER, ANY TYPE BUT I LIKE THE PRIMOS BRAND, GET A FACE MASK, AND GLOVES THAT MATCH YOUR CAMO TO AND DO YOU HAVE A TURKEY VEST?? LOOK INTO THOSE THEY DO HELP BEST OF LUCK ON YOUR FIRST YEAR TURKEY HUNTING.

Welcome!!What part of Florida? I'm in Central Florida. It depends where I'm huntin' but I usually wear Mossy Oak Breakup or Forest Floor but if there's alot of green around go for the RealTree.I use the x-tra brown but I'm going to try the HD green this year.Good luck.

As another first timer and Fl.hunter I would recommend the Mossy Oak Intrigue. It has the look of leaves over netting. What I like about it is if it's hot you can dress light and if the weather changes and it gets cold just add more under it and you still stay camoed.

Welcome FLABOWMAN,
Nine times out of ten, I'm going to have palmettos around me. BassPro sells a camo pattern that mocks this, although I don't have any. Advantage timber or RealTree green can be effective. I especially like the realtree because my favorite blind setup is an oak or pine tree with palmettos growing around it. That pattern seems to blend in real well with that setup.

Don't get me wrong, good camo is needed for turkey's, but movement will bust you long before your camo will. Your set-up, calling, and your gun need more of your attention than your camo.
